Many people come to the Sunshine Coast for a visit … and before they leave, they're dreaming of moving here. The good news is that it's possible! Why not come see for yourself?
Getting here is easy
Passengers and vehicles sail aboard BC Ferries from Horseshoe Bay, in West Vancouver, to Langdale, approximately 3 miles (5 km) from historic Gibsons Landing. Public transit and taxi are available between Langdale and Gibsons, and it's a popular bike route, too.
Convenient daily intercity bus service operates between Vancouver International Airport, downtown Vancouver, and Gibsons. Busses travel on select BC Ferry sailings.
Alternatively, come to Gibsons by way of Vancouver Island. Passengers and vehicles sail aboard BC Ferries from Comox (Little River) to Powell River (Westview), then drive south on Highway 101 to Saltery Bay, where another ferry sails to Earls Cove. From Earls Cove, continue south on Highway 101 to Gibsons, a scenic journey that takes approximately one hour.
By air, fly to Sechelt Airport (charters and private planes). Floatplanes can be chartered to and from Gibsons Harbour.
